- 75 Years of Community and Family Service. On January 27, 2013, Metropolitan will celebrate its 75th year of service to the Newark community. In order to commemorate this monumental occasion, Metropolitan is asking its members to participate in the 75th commemorative album and directory by agreeing to take a family portrait which will become part of the church record. You may agree to purchase pictures, however, it is not necessary to be included in the directory. We need you to make this a successful endeavor.
