Our First Family
Pastor Jefferson and Mrs. Jefferson (Sister “J”) are the foundation of the family structure at Metropolitan. The Jefferson family exemplifies the true meaning of family, with a God-centered focus.
Kimberly Williams is the eldest daughter and ministry leader of the Daughters of Christ Women’s Bible Study which is a word based bible study for women. She maintains full time employment, is a seminary student and is wife to John Williams and mother to two sons. She exemplifies Christ centered working mothers in today’s society.
Rev. David Jefferson, Jr., also known as “Rev. DJ”, serves as an Associate Minister . He has a special gift of communicating with young people and works with the Youth Ministry. He is an accomplished actor, producer, and motivational speaker. His lovely wife Dr. Joni Jefferson, DO specializes in Osteopathic Medicine. They are the proud parents of three children.
As a major in Graphic Arts, Lou Ella Kemp offers a wide variety of talents to the church including teaching high school girls in the Family Bible Academy and is a member of the Praise Team. She is married to Ronald Kemp.
When not in college, the youngest daughter, Jasmine Jefferson is also a member of the Praise Team and a featured soloist.
